Afternoon Tea in Fitzrovia: Dalloway Terrace

Afternoon tea in Fitzrovia

This week I’ve been jam packing my days with as much fun as possible. So yesterday my family and I headed for afternoon tea in Fitzrovia. I loooove afternoon tea. Usually I go at least once a year with my mum or girl friends. But as I’m only back home for a week I thought it would be nice for my whole family to catch up over scones and finger sandwiches.

I had seen photos of Dalloway Terrace on social media and there’s no denying it’s a gorgeous venue. After a little insta stalking I’ve been itching to check it out for myself! The restaurant offers breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and an all day dining menu. So that was settled, afternoon tea in Fitzrovia was the plan.

The first thing that bowls you over is the interiors. A cosy terrace with blankets on the back of wide seated wicker chairs. Greenery on every table. Warm lighting from ceiling strung lanterns. Dalloway Terrace really is any Instagram lovers dream, it’s impossible to take a bad photo.

The food was amazing. My brother wasn’t too keen on the super sharp tasting mango & passion fruit dome. His face resembled those YouTube videos of parents giving their toddlers a lemon wedge. But I loved the flavour! And we all devoured the lot. Dalloway Terrace offer standard afternoon tea and sparkling wine or champagne options too.┬áCheck out the menu below… my favourite dessert was the chocolate & caramelised pecan slice.

Beyond the food, the service was superb. Every member of staff was attentive, charming and welcoming. All in all Dalloway Terrace offers a relaxed and delicious afternoon tea in Fitzrovia. I certainly hope to be back to savour more of their menus in the future.
